TTRSA presents seminar at Road Expo Ireland
TTRSA Director Matthew Steele presented a seminar "Learning from Road Safety Audits – Designing Safer Roads" at Road Expo Ireland (and Civilex) on 13th October 2010, at Simmonscourt, Dublin. The seminar informed the audience on the processes and roles related to undertaking Road Safety Audits under the current NRA guidance, before using a large number of real examples to illustrate many of the issues raised in Road Safety Audits and possible design stage solutions to make the country's road infrastructure safer.
TTRSA works with AUNT-SUE
TTRSA employees have been an active part of the AUNT-SUE Consortium's practitioner network. Towards the end of 2009, TTRSA worked on behalf of AUNT-SUE to produce a report entitled 'Inclusive Journey Environment: Policy, Practice and Potential'. In particular this report reviews the accessibility related 'Toolkit' of software development by AUNT-SUE, and its potential for use within the practitioner environment.
